Taylor has respect but no awe for Chicago

DAVIE * The 2006 Dolphins won't be remembered in the same light as the
1972 squad that finished with the only perfect record in NFL history.

And if Jason Taylor is correct, the same statement will ultimately
prove true for the 2006 Chicago Bears.

While the Dolphins defensive end praised the Bears (7-0) on Wednesday,
Taylor made it clear that he wasn't in awe of the team entering
Sunday's game at Soldier Field.

Taylor even seemed to take a sarcastic jab by twice referring to
Chicago as "the almighty Bears."

"They have a lot of good players, some of the top players at their
positions, but we're not playing the '72 Dolphins or the All-Madden team on
the video game," Taylor said. "These guys can be beaten. It's as simple
as that."

Asked whether the Dolphins (1-6) must play considerably better than
earlier this season to defeat the Bears, Taylor said, "No. ... It's not
going to take a miracle to beat this team."
