Gail, Bears Superfan

Kenneth, it was great to see you so enthusiastic Sunday. After the first quarter I also expected 96 points from them. Probably best they slowed up because you would have been more exhausted then the players at the end of the game and most likely would be suffering from a bad case of carpel tunnel. Well, Paul, I found myself dozing just a little during the 3rd and 4th quarters. I was blaming it on not getting a good night's sleep.

Did everyone read Larry Mayer's Q & A's on the Bears website? This was the first time Tommie did not start because he was being disciplined for an undisclosed infraction of a team rule. Lovey doesn't fool around...first (that we know of) Brandon, now Tommie.

I was actually happy to see Mike on the sidelines. He has such heart and passion for the game. It was an unfortunate injury, and it's hard to say what the outcome will be for his career, but it says alot about Mike's character and team spirit to be out there still giving his all.

On the 9th the 16th Annual UCAN Fundraiser will be held at Joe's Sports Bar. Besides some Bears, players from other local teams will also be in attendance. Tickets in advance are only $35.00, and this includes a buffet. There's more info on www.csac.biz, and it might be on Glenn's website, www.biggestbearfan.com by the time this is posted.

For all of you going to the game this Sunday, don't forget to bring a toy or two for the Payton Foundation Toy Drive. It makes me crazy each year when I see all those fans showing up at the game without bringing something.

A big thumbs up to Nathan for being such a class act. When he was being interviewed by Mike North on Tuesday, Mike made a comment that the Bears didn't have to worry about the Dolphins. Nathan said he wouldn't say that, the Dolphins have lots of good players like Marty Booker.

GO BEARS!
