Gail Freund, Bears SuperfanKenneth, that's not shocking. It used to be a lot easier, and a lot less expensive to get a ticket to the Bears. I remember going down the first day they were available to the public and just walking right up to the ticket booth and buying tickets. Actually, I remember calling up during the season and still getting tickets. Not like now when they are released they're sold out in minutes. I was probably 15 years older than you are now before going to my first game. After that I was hooked. Out of town games are great...Dallas, Indianapolis, Tampa Bay, Philadelphia when the Spare Bears played (most of you are way too young to know about that). Sue can tell you some stories, too. Not about away games, but about Vacation in Bearadise with the players. Awesome. I was on the waiting list for 9 years for season tickets, beginning in 1985.
Lisa, check out Eastbay.com for deals, too. But you're right about the women's sizes running small. I bought an XL for my girlfriend who would normally wear a small. She does the same thing Eileen told you, buys in the Kids dept.
Looking forward to meeting all of you tomorrow.
GO BEARS!
