Benson held out as a rookie and then got hurt because he wasn't properly prepared for the season. What in that is their to like about him? So I really don't blame anybody for disliking him, and truthfully, I really don't care for him much either. This is coming from a T.O. fan, so it's not like it's over the whole hold-out either. I think he'll make some good trade bait one day though...
I think the Fox commentators are about as biased for us as regional announcers you can find. Sure, they aren't paid to be biased like the radio guys are, but they can't totally be for the Bears, or the other team's fans wouldn't be very happy. I just don't think I could do the whole radio/television thing though because of the delay between the two would throw me off.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say Glenn is the second-biggest Bears fan to Marcus.
This week Bill Simmons once again picked against us, but then again he also picked against the White Sox last year, so maybe it's a good thing. The Sports Gal is on our side though, so all should end up well.
I'm still confused why you guys would rather have a quarterback that doesn't outwardly show that he believes in himself. Can you name a good quarterback that hasn't done this? I just don't get what's wrong with walking with some swagger...
