Hey kids and cats! I'm back. It's been nearly two weeks since my last post. I'm sorry for that. I didn't even post for the Minnesota game. I know. I feel the shame and approbation.

It's been a very difficult last few weeks. I could go over the litany of excuses (work, family, moving to a new place and throwing a three-year-old's birthday party one week later - today - and a non-recoverable computer crash) but who wants to hear that?

It's so odd for there not to be a noon Bear's game and as I read in the Trib Friday, NBC has the option of moving another game or two from noon to 7:30 p.m. owing to their contract with the NFL, so this kind of oddness could continue throughout the season. It just feels abnormal. The Bears play at noon. Period. I don't know if I can take the extra anticipation.

This matchup could be one for the books. The number one offense and the number one (I mean really, they're number one) defense. Unfortunately, I have Matt Hasselbeck AND most of the Bears defensive line on my fantasy team. I suspect only one of them will do well and I am 22 points down. It's not looking good. And my opponent is starting He Who Shall Not Be Named. I would love for him to regret that decision.

I can't wait to watch this game. Go Bears!!!
