I think there was supposed to be a game tonight

I'm not sure I understand this. There is a Bears team in the SuperBowl and they didn't win. I don't know that I can handle this. This season came together so well. They accomplished so much.

For our quarterback to be defeated by the weather and the Dome Team QB to take it in stride, it seems inconceivable.

In a game where Devin Hester draws first blood on the first kickoff, the Bears collapse and lose. What happened to our defense? How did Peyton Manning stand on his feet the whole night, bar one play? How did an AFC offensive line stand up an NFC defensive line?

I have never seen our entire team outclassed like they were tonight. Losing Ced was a bigger blow than I expected it to be. I have never seen Rex and Olin misconnect so many times. How does the team accustomed to playing in the snow let the ball slip so much?

There is equal blame to be laid upon the offense and defense. Our Defense let the Colts keep the ball far too long, far too often. The Offense did Jack and Sh** when they finally got the ball. Turning 2nd and 1 into 3rd and 12 is unforgivable. We looked like a high school team out there. The fact that the defense kept them to ONLY 28 points is a surprise.

I suppose we have "next year," but for that to happen Rex needs to learn to make the plays in the clutch. Awful. Just plain awful.

Well, Marcus, I hope you are satisfied. I hope you are satisfied.

Personally, I blame the loss on the lack of appearance of Bill (or Bob) Swerski and the Super Fans on SNL last night. And if there's no sign of them on next week's SNL, I won't be watching it again. Ever.

As for the team; would someone please pay Lovie so it's worth his while to stick around? Did I hear he's one of the lowest paid coaches in the NFL? If that's the case, that's just sad. I think he's doing great, and is building an awesome team. Look at the progress they've been making.

I also wasted my Saturday night watching the train wreck hoping for some Sweskis. George Wendt was opening '12 Angry Men' in Chicago Saturday night though and they said it was too difficult to set up the remote. Still. Horatio Sanz was there at least. There should have been something.

What's saddest is that Lovie isn't one of the lowest paid NFL coaches. He is THE lowest paid NFL coach. Not after this season though!
