Hangin' In Miami
Marcus Riley, NBC5 Street Team (video)As I've said on this blog ad nauseum, I couldn't have dreamed for a better Super Bowl. The two teams that I have the most invested in, will meet tomorrow for all the marbles.
I've been here in Miami since Wednesday, covering the Miami party scene for on our Street Team blog. I know, tough gig.
My daytime workspace has been in the media center, located in the Miami Convention Center in South Beach. In short, it's a feast for the eyes and senses, and an incredible experience for any sports fan.
Frankly, it's tough to get anything done, because there's so much going on around you. At one point I looked around, and within my line of sight was Joe Montana, Joe Namath, Don Shula, and boxers Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Oscar de la Hoya jawing at each other. Then there's the oddball stuff, like a Howard Cosell impersonator doing interviews, or the Burger King man and Drew Rosenhaus making the interview rounds with various radio stations. Amazing stuff, and something I don't take for granted.

It's interesting to listen to the various reporters from all over the world break down Sunday's matchup from every vantage point imaginable. There's no question, the time is over for talking, and we're all itching for kickoff.
I've also mentioned -- ad nauseum -- that I'm rooting for the Colts. What worries me is that very few of the so-called experts around me are giving the Bears a chance. We've all seen what the Bears tend to do when they're underestimated.
Then again sometimes -- or most of the times actually -- what's supposed to happen, happens.
