Susan Rhein, Bears Super Fan.
I'm back. Sorry I've been gone for a while but, I've had a lot going on in my personal life which has made me a little crazy lately.
How about them Bears?? Everyone wanted to give up on Rex and throw him away like yesterday's trash however, he proved everyone wrong. Rex is our quarterback and he has proven himself, enough said. I'm tired of all the reports that Griese needs to be put in and Rex taken out. Has everyone forgotten that this is Rex's first official season playing with the Bears as their quarterback. In all way, shape and form and as hard as it is for some of you to grasp this fact, this is Rex's rookie season. Rex has been injured in years past and never had the opportunity to play a full season. If you think back to the Bears 2005 season, it was Rex who started the season and then Kyle took over and marched us to the playoffs and when Rex was healthy again they put Rex in and took Kyle out. I didn't approve of that but, I wasn't the one calling the shots so my voice didn't count.
All I can say about Devin Hester is WOW. Now there's a man that truly needs to be congratulated for his efforts to assure the Bears a victory over the Rams. Devin had me jumping up and down and screaming of excitement while I watched him run not once but twice down field to score touchdowns. Gosh it was such an exciting game on Offense and with our Special Teams.
Okay what happened to Brian Urlacher and our Defense?? Did they forget they had a game to play yesterday?? I heard how Brian commented that he didn't like to play on Monday's but unfortunately, Monday night games are part of the football season so get use to playing on Monday's. I couldn't believe that our Defense stunk as bad as they did and they allowed the Rams that many points. The Bears are supposed to have the number one Defense and yesterday's showing surely didn't make us look like a number one Defense. Our Defense looked a little relaxed.
Well if the Bears intend to keep home field advantage throughout the playoffs then they all better start stepping it up at notch and start executing plays better than they have in games past or otherwise we will not be going much further than the first round in the playoffs and our "Road to Miami" will be a "Road to Next Season".
Marcus, have you jumped ship yet?? I watched the Jaguars/Colts game on Sunday and in my opinion the Colts didn't look that impressive, maybe Peyton was just having an off day.

GO BEARS
