Lisa Schmidt, Bears Super Fan
Hi, I am so sorry I have been MIA! Things have been crazy busy. I am so glad we took two of three on that East Coast Road trip. But I must say, we could have beaten the Patriots. Rex needs to stop making bad decisions. I think we should stick with him, because the only way he will improve is to be given the opportunity to do so, but he needs to stop making such bad decisions in the meantime.
The Minnesota game was a classic example of those big decisions. Thank goodness for our defense and special teams. And I really think someone should consider getting Hester involved in the offense. Man, that boy can run! Every time he gets the ball he has a chance to take it to the house. And that is a fantastic feeling to know there's an opportunity as long as there is an opening. And if there is an opening, he is going all the way!
I am thinking the conditions Monday night might be perfect for Rex to get his groove back. He needs to realize though, that at least 4 or 5 of the next games the Bears will play (playoffs included) are going to be in cold, nasty, snowy weather and he will have to become used to playing in that weather rather quickly.
