Eileen, Bears Superfan
Who else had no idea what to do with themselves without our BEARS this weekend? Last week's Monday night football threw me off to say the least-- or just threw me back to a season or two ago where we relied so heavily on our defense's "luck quote-unquote" to pull us through. Soooo exciting!! As my sister said, however aptly, you decide, "We're a fourth-quarter team."

Like Lisa, I needed some time to decompress after that game, but getting through this weekend without my Bears has been particularly difficult. I will choose to believe that our Chicago Bears are all rested up and therefore MORE than ready to go (less Mike Brown... I just still can't believe he is injured either... that play where he was hurt was one that was tougher and tougher to watch with each repeat in the replays and game reels), to meet the 49ers at home.
But knowing that our guys are rested and ready to go is only a part of the reason why I am soooooo excited for this week's game with our 6-0 record! (How intense!) I am doubly excited because I will be there to cheer them on in person!! Will anyone else be at the game? I think I'll dress up for the occasion, seeing as it IS Halloween weekend.

Last year (or was it the year before?), Soldier field hosted the skydiving Elvises. It was a truly awesome spectacle -- but I would definitely settle for a spectacular Bears win over a Halloween spectacle any day.

Bear down, Chicago, Make every play clear the way to victory.
