Lisa Schmidt, Bears Super Fan
Oh no. As you may know from my previous blogs, Mike Brown is my favorite. And he's hurt. And I am so sad. It puts a huge hole in our defense, as well as taking one of the team's emotional leaders away. But I do not fear, because I know our Bears will overcome this. I am just sad that I won't be able to cheer Mikey on.
What a boring week without Bears football. Although many injuries occurred. Hasselbeck, Roethlisberger. Can you believe the Eagles lost?
I am looking forward to the Bears wearing their orange jerseys on Sunday in honor of Halloween. I love those jerseys. I wish they would wear them more often.
Some of you have expressed concern with Rex's performance Monday night. I am not worried. Everyone has an off day. Even the great Peyton Manning. Rex got it out of system, and our boys still pulled it off. Better for him to off day now than in January. I am sure he will come back smoking against the 49ers on Sunday. Never fear.
