Lisa Schmidt, Bears Super Fan
I must admit, I stated at the beginning of the season that if the Bears don't have a winning record at the end of September, Sexy Rexy was going to lose his starting job to Griese. I mean, playing our entire division in the first three weeks says alot about how we will do for the season. But I was happy Rex looked great on Sunday, and I am confident that as long as he doesn't do any slides into the end zone in Minnesota on the 24th, he shall remain healthy and carry our Bears onto the second Super Bowl (there's only been one Super Bowl and it was played in 1986).
The reason no one is fighting for Cedric is because, #1, when you rush for over 1300 yards, you should be the starting running back. Cedric held out over contract issues, which leaves a sour taste in my mouth, don't know about the rest of you. Thomas Jones has earned the right to be the starter, and until he proves otherwise, I believe he should be the starter.
I too, am not sure why Jerseys are $75. I also can't figure out why they don't make more women's Bears stuff. I usually resort to getting men's stuff that is too big for me and hoping it shrinks. Most of the women's stuff I come across is either pink (YUCK) or tight. I just want a few t-shirts. That fit me. Like t-shirts. Seriously.
My prediction? Bears 27, Lions 3. And then Roy Williams can say, they came so close to giving up 40 points it was stupid.
