Oh Marcus Marcus... sure I don't get my drinking water from the great Lake Michigan here, but I'd like to think my head's on straight none the less.

Maybe Marcus is right, if I wanted to build a team from scratch to make the playoffs I'd take Peyton over Rex. You have to remember though, there's a reason for the famous "Peyton Manning Face", so if I wanted to win in the playoffs, I'm not so sure if Peyton would even be a top three pick from the league. I like my fingers blingin' with gold rings, so I think I'll take Brady, Big Ben, and as a wild card even if he doesn't own any jewelry yet, I'll take Michael Vick before Peyton comes into play.

Besides, I definitely wouldn't want a player on my team that is going to blame his offensive line over a playoff loss. Onto some Bears stuff:

- I have to openly thank Bill Simmons for picking against the Chicago Bears this past weekend, for we're 3-0 when the Sports Guy is against our boys. But don't worry Mr. Simmons, I'm thinking the Seahawks are definitely looking good against Chicago this weekend...

- Robbie Gould is slowly but surely turning into a favorite of mine. Perfect on the season so far from all ranges, and as one of our top rookie kicker's ever last year, I'm looking forward to him having a long tenure in Chicago. With that said, I wish there was a more animated way to bringing him in though. Once the Sox are done could we have Ozzie Guillen start signaling him in at home games?

- In my mind, every Rashied Davis touchdown adds another three dollars to the autographed program he signed for me at training camp this year. Show me the money Rashied!

(Just joking... I'd never Ebay or attempt to sell any of my Bears merchandise. Trust me, it sits nicely right next to my Jon Garland World Series bobble-head doll.)

- After yesterday's performance I'm thinking of jumping in on the Muhsin Muhammad diet. In fact, by the end of the season, Muhammad should leverage this to his advantage to be the sport's version Rachel Ray. Does the diet include tuna salad sandwiches by any chance?

- Is it too late to coin the phrase "Lovie-Ball"?

- I think some of my fellow bloggers will disagree with this, but I would love to see the Bears become overly cocky. We definitely have the talent to back up the swagger, so why not use it?
