Kathee Meade, Bears Super FanKathee Meade – Bears Super Fan!
I’m sure glad The Bears were able to squeak one through yesterday by winning against The Vikings. I have to admit – I was a little bit worried throughout most of the game (especially with some of those bad officiating calls), but the good guys pulled through. GO BEARS!!! 3-0 feels pretty good!
Sue, with reference to your inquiry concerning Bears Management continuing to play Cade McNown many eons ago while there was better talent sitting the bench, I felt the same way even then. I didn’t think Cade had what it took and was frustrated as heck the way Bears Management seemed to look the other way while Cade displayed terrible performances, game after game.
The Bears are going to have to clean up their act in Sunday’s game against Seattle and cool it with the penalties if they expect to win. We had 9 penalties in the first half against The Vikings, while racking up only 10 penalties in the first two games combined. Very inconsistent. I do think, however, that some of the calls were to blame for the high number of penalties. I was surprised to see Kreutz mess up, not only once, but twice on simply hiking the ball. I’m sure the coaching staff will have him working on his delivery during this week’s practices to ensure that he performs the way we all know he can against Seattle.
