Gail, Bears Superfan

I'm getting ready for the game and I'm very excited. Like Mark Bradley (player and blogger) I'll be at the game. I am actually looking forward to spending New Years' Eve at Soldier Field with the Bears...and probably way too many Packers' fans. Most of the group I go with won't be attending. They have a party every year so this won't change their plans. I'll probably be asleep on the Pace Bus when the New Year actually arrives.

I didn't get too many Bears' Christmas gifts. Kenneth, did you get your Rex jersey? My friend called yesterday to tell me Finish Line and Champs at Woodfield were selling the jerseys two for $90.00 at one store, and buy one, get one half off at the other. I'm surprised they are discounting them this soon. Finish Line even has Desmond Clark jerseys. Right now I can start wearing some old jerseys I have---just don't let people see the back (80 - Dez White, 37 - Tony Parrish, 24 - Glyn Milburn, 21 - McQuarters, and, of course, 35 - A Train, 88 - Robinson, 44 - Enis, and 8 - McNown). I don't know why I can't bear to get rid of them. It would free up lots of closet space. When is someone going to invent removable names for the back? I need to talk to Ocho Cinco about that.

Back to gifts, my friend bought out Meijers for their $4.00 NFC Championship Ornaments. One is for me, but I haven't seen it yet.

The Bears are going to win tonight. At the beginning of the season I predicted 13-3, but I will gladly be wrong. In spite of the fact that there will be lots of Packers fans in the stadium, the fellows are going to be really wound up and determined to end regular season with a win.

Happy, Healthy New Year to all of you! GO BEARS!
