Gail, Bears Superfan
Congratulations to our Pro Bowlers, and, also on the win Sunday. It certainly kept me glued to my seat. I'm glad everything has quieted down, Rex has been doing well and Tank is still in the family.
Since it's a little late to discuss last week's game, just a few notes on Bears Sightings. My friends went to Real Time Sports the beginning of the month to see Peanut. They had a great time. Everyone was dialing up friends and Peanut was talking to them. He went from table to table mingling with the people.
Just the opposite happened at Juniors. Other friends went in late November. They said the food and atmosphere was very good, but Lance was escorted to a private room where he watched the game. No one was able to go in to get autographs or even say hello. No other players were there, either. My group had been planning on going last Monday but considering their report, changed our minds.
Then two weeks ago, Chris and Nathan came in while I was working. That was quite a surprise. Chris was so friendly..as usual. No Fly Zone.
This week I saw Ahmad Merritt. He was terrific. He said he's expecting to see all of us at a Rush game this season.
So...tomorrow's Detroit. Actually, I was thinking about all the last minute things I could do until I remembered that the Bears are playing! Of course they will bring home a win!
Happy Holidays to all of you. GO BEARS!!
