Sue Rhein, Bears Super FanSue Rhein, Bears Super Fan

Well here we are 43 hours before kickoff and I finally made it through everyone's blog from this past week. Yes I've been one very busy person at work but I usually try to read and make comments to my fellow bloggers blogs while I'm on the train going home. I love what most of you have written, it made my hour train ride home enjoyable.

Kathee and Eileen you both stated that you would have liked to see Griese start at the quarterback position instead of Rex because he has more experience than Rex but you understood why Bears management wouldn't put their highest paying player on the bench. My question to both of you is, how did you feel when Cade was playing at the starting quarterback position?? Lets face it, Bears management paid Cade big bucks to play and even though we had better talent sitting on the bench, Bears management never changed the starting quarterback position even though Cade cost us the season. Eileen, you also stated that after the preseason Rex left you with doubts as to his ability to being the Bears starting quarterback well, now that we are heading into week three of the regular season with Rex as our starting quarterback and he is having the best season of his career thus far by shutting out two division teams, I was wondering if you still have doubts or has Rex proved himself worthy to you of the starting quarterback position??

Lisa you're absolutely right most of our touchdowns last season were scored by the Defense however, you have to give Kyle some credit for the awesome season we had. After all, we did go all the way to the playoffs with Kyle as our starting quarterback and that alone has to count for something. If you remember, Kyle was a mere Rookie who was thrown into the starting quarterback position when Rex got injured.

All I can say for now is that I will be saying a lot of prayers this weekend, because we are in for one heck of a fight on Sunday to keep control of the NFC North Division Title and if you think the Vikings are going to take it lying down and let us just walk into their house and walk out with another "W" in our column, think again. You can bet they're going to come at us with all they have, because in past years the Bears were known as a team that could be taken lightly, but now that we have already shut out two teams in our division, word is spreading that the Bears are a team you shouldn't over look anymore. Our Defense, Offense and Special Teams are all good, strong players who want to gain back the reputation of being the "Monsters of the Midway" instead of the "Bad News Bears." I'm still sticking with my prediction of Bears 27 - Vikings 10.

Hey Sue.. love the way you're calling out your fellow bloggers on their stuff!! You're obviously a Rexy fan... it'll be interesting to see what happens when they play a quality team -- the vikings look decent -- and whether the support will continue if Rex has a bad game.
