Gail Freund, Bears Superfan



I've never followed the Florida Gators or any college football. I did like Chris Leak when I saw him in Bourbonnais and thought he did a great job against the Browns. He might be a little short like Rex, but he appeared to be more accurate. I haven't checked to see if any team picked him up, so I don't know if he will have a future in the NFL. As for Rex, I always felt the team carried him to the Super Bowl, not vice versa, but I'm trying hard to be fair and support him.



There was a column by Mike Downey in the August 23 Chicago Tribune which many of you probably read. It compared Rex to about a dozen other team quarterbacks. Not only was it humorous but it actually sounds like we have one of the best QB's in the league. Looking forward to tonight's game, as I'm sure Marcus is, too. I've been enjoying the Peyton Manning/Reggie Bush commercial.....but will Peyton have 15 more with opponents from each team the Colts are playing?
