Eileen, it sounds more like Mike's injury is career-ending. The sportscasters seemed convinced that if Mike does make another comeback it will no longer be as a Bear. What a tragic outcome for Kevin Everett, too. It's also unfortunate that Dusty was injured again cutting his season short.
These sobering events actually make any team's game loss seem quite insignificant.
