Are most of you going to the Bears game on Sunday? It's too bad Pace quit running the Bears Shuttle to the games. Most people would have gladly paid more than $5.00 roundtrip for the convenience of parking at the Transportation Center and letting someone else do the driving. Plus, the buses arrived at the stadium nice and early so you could take part in tailgating with your friends or in the activities sponsored by the Bears.
Once again the Weber Ultimate Tailgate Party will be held outside of Gate 6. This Sunday former Bears Ronnie Bull and Jim Osborne will be on hand for photographs and autographs. Look for Dan the Photoman and say hello. Are any of you members of the original Chicago Bears Fan Club? If you are you probably attended the Tailgate Parties at the old stadium. Those were a great time. Francie knows how to throw a party. After you would carry the balloons into the stadium and let them go at kickoff.
The Tribune listed a few Chicago establishments which offer transportation to the game:

Field trip! Game day's a cinch when you let someone else do the driving

Bears fans are a hardy bunch, willing to endure frigid weather and
harsh parking restrictions to cheer on Rex Grossman and the gang. But truly
savvy fans know it doesn't have to be so rough: They arrive at Soldier
Field unruffled (and with a decent beer buzz) on a bar shuttle.
Looking for a lift? These neighborhood bars open early and provide
beverage-equipped busses to the field on game days.

The Score also advertises Lawrence Holmes at Juniors on Maxwell before the game. They offer a brunch and bus to the game.
Do any of you know places in the north/northwest suburbs which offer transportation? Last year there was a bar on Rand Road in Arlington Heights which advertised bus transportation. I'm going to check it out today or tomorrow.
Before the game you can also go down to Studio 5, 401 N. Michigan, for Bears Gameday Live at 10:30 a.m. You might be able to win tickets to the Miller Party Deck at Soldier Field.
If you do attend the game....don't drink and drive. Designate a driver.
GO BEARS!
