Busy day in the media yesterday. First reports of what Matt Wilhelm said that Ron Rivera told the team re Rex. I heard Ron on the Score but didn't know what he was talking about until later. Olin was the perfect person for the press to interview. He will always tell it like it is plus he is fiercely loyal to his team and teammates. Then came the reports of Shaun Phillips remarks about Cedric Benson:

When we studied him that was one of our knocks on him is that he can get a little disgruntled when you hit him a little bit and you talk a little trash to him and give him a couple shots,” Phillips said. “It’s what he did. He turned the ball over. He’ll fold and he’ll take it in. So that’s what we were able to do and I’m pretty sure that’s going to haunt him the rest of his career with me telling people over the radio.”

Does he really think that anything he said could haunt Cedric for "the rest of his career"? Please...and didn't we play them LAST week? That's over and done with. The Bears are concentrating on KC now.

I'm looking forward to seeing a good week for Cedric. Hopefully, that will put to rest hearing about Thomas Jones for this entire season. I liked Thomas just like everyone else, but he's gone so it's time to let it go and give someone else support.
