If you've been listening to the various callers on talk radio the reason the Bears are dominating is because they haven't had any good teams to play yet. One man even called in to state that the Bears weren't a good team because they almost lost to Minnesota. Mike Mulligan told him that he thought that a good team is one that wins in spite of penalties, turnovers, etc. Even Tony seems to feel that the team might get--what--too complacent or lackadaisical because there will be no real competition in December. It seems like many have already determined that there are only three "good" teams that the Bears will be playing during the regular season: Jets, Giants, Patriots. Seattle didn't count as good because their MVP was sidelined (so stated by one of the "talk radio" Monday morning armchair experts). And who knows what might happen to these three "good" teams. I thought this long, 12 weeks could be a turn around for any team...the Bears and Colts could loose all remaining games while Detroit goes on a fantastic winning streak taking them right to the Super Bowl. After all...any given Sunday. Or Monday, maybe Thursday.
Before the Bills game we were supposed to be very worried because of McGahee. What was the reason again?
So, taking one game at a time, GO BEARS! CRUSH THE CARDINALS!
