Sue Rhein, Bears Super Fan



I am so happy and overly excited with regards to the Bears slaughter over the Green Bay Packers yesterday. Unfortunately, I was unable to watch the game on Sunday but, I did listen to it on the radio which in my opinion was about equal to actually watching the game because, it allows your mind to imagine how the play was being made without visually seeing it. I did manage to see the last 5 minutes of the game and from what I saw, Favre looked pretty badly beaten which made me believe that the Bears are off to a wonderful start for the new season. I can't wait to see what the Bears do to Detroit when they come into "Our House" for opening day. From the sounds of it, Rex did a great job yesterday and he only had one bad throw which made me happy because during the preseason, I heard so called Bears Fans saying that if the Bears wanted to go anywhere this year that they better start veteran quarterback Griese rather than wasting their time on Rex and then others would comment about Kyle and how he was a better quarterback than Rex so, for all those nay sayers, I'm glad that Rex was able to strut his stuff and put them all in their place and I congratulate Coach Lovie Smith for staying with Rex.
