Lisa Schmidt, Bears Super Fan
I read a great article in the Sun-Times today about Devin Hester. As much as I miss Jerry Azumah, I think Hester is going to be a great punt returner and asset for us. I wouldn't be surprised if he returned quite a few more punts for touchdowns this season. I also read that when Brian Urlacher was asked what he thought about Roy Williams "guarantee" that Detroit would win on Sunday, he said, "Next question." I love it! I have a feeling Roy Williams didn't do so well in math when he was in school, since he thinks 6 points is close to 40, and I also think he needs to re-learn the rules of football. Perhaps he feels that the third field goal is worth 34 points. Or maybe that a touchdown is worth 34 points. I am not really sure. Kind of feel sorry for the guy, you know?
In any event, I am looking very forward to Sunday's game and watching the Bears just trample the Lions. I remember beating them 38-6 last year and that was a glorious occasion.
On a personal note, Glen, I noticed you don't have Mike Brown's autograph and he is also not on your most wanted list. This makes me sad. HOWEVER, in the event you find out somewhere he is going to be, please let me know. Mikey is my fave.
