Lisa Schmidt, Bears Super Fan
Ah, football season has officially begun. It was amusing to watch Culpepper don the Dolphins uniform, only to perform the same way Culpepper has always performed. I readied the couch for the game on Sunday -- the fleece Bears blanket drapped over the back, the "Parking for Bears Fans Only" sign hanging over the couch where we sit to watch the game, and of course, the Bears flag waving proudly outside. Let me just say, that 3:15 for a game is the worst. Bears games should be at noon. Who cares what the Cheeseheads like? I mean, Favre is simply going to be put into early retirement on Sunday after our defensive line annihilates him.
Here resumes the Sunday after Sunday (and occasional Monday) of screaming at the officials, throwing things at the television, and jumping with joy when Mike Brown intercepts Favre's pass and runs it back for a touchdown. Okay, that might only happen on two Sundays, but you get the idea.
Brian Urlacher wants a ring. I want the Super Bowl Shuffle. The journey begins in about 50 hours. GO BEARS! CRUSH 'EM!
