Marcus… truthfully, you’re killing me.
Down here at Ball State I can’t go anywhere without seeing Colts fan-gear. The idea here is mainly that Peyton Manning can never do wrong, which is sad, because after Reggie Miller, Indy fans seem to enjoy never winning world championships. Maybe you are one of those fans, but Mark, I grew up watching Jordan and many good White Sox teams. With that said, I would rather take a boring defensive victory over a high-scoring loss any day of the week. Need I remind you when we showed some offense and lost to the Panthers last year? That wasn't fun at all.
Now, the truth is, I can’t see why Rex won’t be starting unless he gets hurt. Quarterback changes should only take place if the team loses the first three or so right off the bat. Since we play seven awful teams out of the first eight games, there’s no reason it will take place.
I for one am going to miss Daunte in the NFC North. He’s always been horrible, and I realized that when I was 15 years old. Why can’t NFL scouts realize this? It doesn’t take much to realize that Randy Moss carried him. Which is funny, because when Randy Moss can't carry Aaron Brooks this year, we'll realize Brooks is twice as bad as we all thought.
And since Bill Simmons picked us to lose the first game, I hope the Sports Gal mops up the floor with him.
