Kenneth Sothman, Bears Superfan




As a fan of the Florida Gators and the old days of the "Fun 'N Gun" offense, I would have to say that is the reason to why Grossman walks around like he owns the place. Basically for three years Rex was the college version of Brett Favre, a strong strong arm and a great ability to throw the long ball. His numbers were just plain sick, and the Gators produced type of offense Colts fans get to watch every Sunday. 60 point wins over Vanderbilt were always fun to watch...
Now honestly to me, it doesn't really feel like his 2-0 start as a rookie was that long ago. And sure, three years later he my as well still be an unproven rookie, but I'm glad he walks around with this winning swagger still. He knows he's good or at least has the potential to be good, and truthfully, I'd rather have my quarterback taking this kind of attitude then being afraid to take chances.
The injuries just haven't seem to have gotten to his head, and even though he probably only has a few years left to be a good quarterback before his skills start slipping, I think he's going to make the best of them.
